Cooperating in sustainable energy planning

Sustainable Energy Action Plans at a regional and local level are often developed in isolation of each other. This can lead to duplication, wasted resources and missed opportunities to save time, money and minimise negative impacts.Image of final Coopenergy report

COOPENERGY, funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme, will support the development of more effective collaborative working between regional and local public authorities to maximise positive energy planning outcomes and accelerate reduction in greenhouse gases.

If you are a regional or local public authority, an energy agency or a financial institution interested in investing in energy projects then this website is for you.

The project has now come to an end and the tools, publications and resources we have developed are all available on the Publications section of this website.
