Good Practice of the Week: OREGES – an observatory to monitor energy consumption and share data, Rhône-Alpes Region, France

Good Practice of the Week: Climate Change and Sustainable Development Steering Committee, Germany

Read our case study of the week to find out how the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region in Germany, developed a multi-level governance approach to delivering their energy initiatives, by developing a ‘Climate Change and Sustainable Development’ Steering Committee.

Through the Steering Committee and its 25 representatives, 33 counties and cities across the metropolitan area have committed to fulfilling a treaty for an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050. The project has three main focus areas:
